We are now able to offer the Freedom Programme to any woman who wants to attend

The Freedom Programme is a domestic abuse programme which was created by Pat Craven and evolved from her work with perpetrators of domestic abuse (there is a separate course for men which is run by Pat Craven directly - for details please click here)

The programme usually lasts for 11 or 12 weeks and is FREE.

Our Freedom Programme facilitators provide information, not therapy and do not give any legal or practical advice on how to leave etc. Women needing practical advice on housing, benefits etc will be directed to our Thrive Floating Support service.

There is an animated video here which outlines part of the programme. Please note that it contains swearing and language which some people might find upsetting.

Women must self-refer by calling 01952 947835 or 07487 802629 (our facilitator may not always be able to answer first time, so please do keep trying!)

Please do not call us on behalf of a woman wanting to take part as we cannot accept the referral and we cannot call her back.

**Please note we are unable to share details of times, dates etc with anyone other than programme participants and this includes professionals and family members**

If they call our main number the team won’t be able to deal with the referral.

Help us to help more women!

Every woman who attends the course receives two books (free of charge) to enable her to complete the course.

We receive no funding to deliver the course - each set of books costs us £11.50 and are funded via charitable donations. If you would like to make a donation, please follow this link!
