Welcome to YMCA Wellington and District
Helping people discover who they are and what they can become.
Since 1859, YMCA Wellington and District has been supporting people across Wellington, Telford and the surrounding communities, creating opportunities that build confidence, wellbeing and stronger connections.
From supporting young people and families to providing safe, welcoming spaces where everyone feels valued, we believe that every person deserves the chance to reach their full potential.
For more than 165 years, we have remained committed to empowering individuals, strengthening communities and helping people build brighter futures. Together, we're creating a stronger, healthier and more connected community for Wellington, Telford and beyond.

- Mental health support, counselling and mentoring
- Practical courses to teach skills such as budgeting and cooking
- Opportunities to gain skills, qualifications and employment
