New College Apartments
Move-On Housing for 18–25 Year Olds
Are you aged 18–25, currently in employment, an apprenticeship or a paid training programme, and looking for affordable housing?
You may be eligible to apply for one of our one-bedroom apartments, located within the beautiful Grade II listed former New College building in Wellington.
Each self-contained apartment includes:
- Electric panel heating
- Kitchen with built-in oven, hob and extractor fan
- Space for a fridge
- Separate lounge area
- Single or Double bedrooms available
- Seperate bathroom with electric shower
- Flooring installed throughout
- Curtains or blinds provided
The apartments are set across two floors and benefit from lift access for residents and visitors who use mobility aids.
Laundry facilities are available in a dedicated ground floor laundry room, with washing machines and dryers operating on a pay-per-load basis through a mobile app.
Rents are set at the affordable rent standard, which is 80% or less of local market rents. Please note that bills and utilities are not included.
Unfortunately, pets are not permitted within the apartments.
