Trustee Vacancy

We're looking for a few passionate people to join the YMCA Wellington & District Board of Trustees.

You don't need to have been a trustee before – just bring your enthusiasm, fresh ideas and a desire to make a real difference to young people's lives. We'd especially love to hear from people with experience in finance, housing, governance or the charity sector, but if you're passionate about our mission, we'd still love to hear from you.

We support young people aged 16–25 who are homeless or facing housing difficulties, helping them build brighter futures.

As a trustee you'll help shape our strategy, support good governance and ensure we're delivering the biggest possible impact across Wellington, Telford and the surrounding areas.

What's involved?

• Role: Voluntary role (travel expenses paid)
• Time: Up to six board meetings a year, plus one training/strategy day
• Location: Wellington
